About the Role
As a QA Automation Engineer IV at Hudson Manpower, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality products, and we're looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence.The successful candidate will have experience working in a remote environment, with a strong understanding of digital skills and remote work practices. You will be working closely with our development team to identify and prioritize testing activities, and will be responsible for estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing efforts.
What You Will Do
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Participate and contribute extensively to requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, and automated scripts
- Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report test results
- Perform risk assessments and business requirements validation
- Investigate bugs and write clear and concise defect reports
- Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing activities
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java, Perl, or similar technologies
- Experience with automation engineer tools like Selenium with Java or similar
What We Are Looking For
- Technical degree or related work experience
- Experience with automation engineer tools like Selenium with Java or similar
- Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Java, Perl, or similar technologies
- Hands-on experience with load, integration, security, and server-side testing
- Experience with relational database development using MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or similar technologies
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Strong understanding of digital skills and remote work practices
