About the Role
The QA Engineer role at Binance is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global blockchain ecosystem. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Binance's web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve performance, scalability, and usability issues. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about testing and quality assurance, with a strong foundation in Java coding and APP testing.The successful candidate will be working remotely and will be expected to maintain effective communication with the team. This is a junior fixed-term contract position, lasting for 6 months, and is open to current undergraduate or graduate students and fresh graduates who can commit to working 5 days a week.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React)
- Collaborate closely with the design and product teams to ensure seamless implementation of new features and user interfaces
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve performance, scalability, and usability issues
- Continuously learn and keep up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices
- Work remotely and maintain effective communication with the team
- Participate in the Binance Accelerator Program, a 3-6 month program designed to provide an immersive experience in the rapidly expanding Web3 space
- Focus on networking and development to expand your professional network and build transferable skills
- Contribute to the development of new features and user interfaces
- Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement testing strategies
- Identify and report defects and bugs found during testing
What We Are Looking For
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrable experience in web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Possessing sufficient discretionary time to dedicate to the program
- Experience with Excel or similar spreadsheet software
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools
Nice to Have
- Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Certification in QA engineering or a related field
