What You Will Do

• Define test plans that cover the validation and verification plan defined by the QA team, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the product.
• Develop test schedules and test cases that meet the requirements, UX specifications, and applicable standards, using your understanding of hardware and software integration.
• Perform manual tests to identify bugs and areas for improvement, utilizing your analytical skills to replicate reported issues and document findings.
• Utilize AI tooling to optimize and speed up daily tasks, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies in quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that quality is integrated into every stage of the product development process.
• Participate in agile methodology using Jira and Kanban, adapting to changing priorities and requirements with ease.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose solutions, contributing to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is a shared responsibility across the organization.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar QA role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Hardware affinity and experience working with hardware and software in early development stages, including development boards, battery-driven, and Bluetooth-enabled devices.
• Experience with firmware and app integration and validation, with a deep understanding of requirements, UX specifications, and standards.
• Strong background in agile methodology, with experience using Jira and Kanban to manage and track work.
• Methodical and challenging mindset, with a passion for delivering the best product quality and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with Anthropics Claude Code and other relevant tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with validation of voice control, audio stream recognition, and AI applications with LLMs, with a keen interest in emerging technologies.
• Experience with test automation, with the willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
