About the Role
As a QA Mobile Automation Engineer at Applaudo Studios, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications. Your day-to-day tasks will involve automating API, mobile, and end-to-end testing scenarios, as well as integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, transparency, and technical excellence. Your technical leadership and expertise will be instrumental in driving quality initiatives across the project and promoting automation best practices.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA automation, with a focus on mobile automation using WebDriverIO and API automation using Playwright. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Git is also essential. What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications
- Automate API, mobile, and end-to-end testing scenarios using Playwright and WebDriverIO
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
- Analyze automation results, identify risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Drive quality initiatives across the project and promote automation excellence
- Establish QA automation best practices and continuous improvement processes
- Mentor and support team members through technical guidance and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to ensure software quality
- Act as a technical leader and trusted advisor for QA Automation initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
- Strong experience automating APIs using Playwright
- Strong experience automating mobile applications using WebDriverIO
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience testing REST APIs, authentication flows, and token management
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Git and modern software development practices
- Experience leading QA automation initiatives and promoting automation best practices
