About the Role
The QA Tester role at OmegaHires is a critical part of the company's software development process. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's enterprise applications, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about quality assurance and have a strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development life cycle.The QA Tester will work closely with the development team to create test plans, test cases, and test data, and will be responsible for executing tests and analyzing results. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure the quality of enterprise applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Create and maintain test scripts, test data, and other testing-related documents
- Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects to the development team
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and improve the overall quality of the application
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the application's functionality and technical requirements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies and testing techniques
- Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to ensure that testing is integrated into the agile development process
- Collaborate with the product owner to ensure that testing is aligned with product requirements and priorities
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience performing functional testing within enterprise applications
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test data
- Ability to identify, document, and track software defects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
- Strong understanding of testing techniques and tools, such as test automation and defect tracking systems
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Docker
- Certification in QA or testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and design
