About the Role
The QA/Test Automation Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of Doozer Real Estate Systems GmbH's SaaS solution. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end automated tests. Your goal will be to create smart, stable, and scalable test automation, shaping the test strategy and architecture of the company.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in E2E testing, test automation, and manual QA. You will be working closely with the product development team, key account management, and customer support to ensure seamless collaboration and optimization of processes.
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of the test architecture and help shape the future of optimized AI-driven automated tests
- Perform manual testing and design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated tests
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure high-quality software releases
- Support release testing and final validations, ensuring every feature is production-ready
- Shape test strategy and architecture, performing exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing
- Work closely with key account management, customer support, and the IT team to optimize processes
- Ensure software quality through manual testing and AI-driven automated tests
- Design and implement test cases, test scripts, and test data
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in E2E testing, test automation, and manual QA
- Strong attention to detail and a perfectionist attitude
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright, and Git
- Knowledge of CI tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and modern frontend technologies like ReactJS/TypeScript/HTML/CSS
- Fluency in English, with German being a plus but not mandatory
- Strong remote work discipline and ability to stay focused and productive
- Experience with test management tools like Cucumber and X-Ray
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies like AWS
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and Slack
