About the Role
As a Commercial Account Executive at Salesforce, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive account and territory plan to achieve revenue targets. You will bring a solution-oriented approach to selling, helping prospects understand how Salesforce's products can address their unique business needs. You will be working closely with a team of sales professionals, collaborating to drive sales growth and customer success. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business deals, as well as managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline. - Develop and execute a comprehensive account and territory plan to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your strategic insight to demonstrate the value of Salesforce's products
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business deals with commercial-sized organizations
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales engineering, and product
- Facilitate every stage of the sales cycle, from initial discovery to pitching solutions and pricing negotiations
- Understand the competition and speak to Salesforce's unique value proposition
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive sales growth
- Utilize Salesforce and other virtual selling tools to drive sales success
What We Are Looking For
- 3-5 years of B2B SaaS full-cycle sales experience, with a focus on marketing and sales leaders
- 2+ years of experience selling into organizations with over 500 people
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Goal-oriented with a track record of overachievement
- Proven ability to lead an effective sales process and close new business
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with C-level executives
- Experience with Salesforce and other virtual selling tools, such as Zoom and Webex
- Strong understanding of the sales process, with experience using MEDDIC or other enterprise sales methodologies
- Ability to articulate and sell the business value of marketing and sales solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience working in the MarTech industry
- Knowledge of conversational marketing and pipeline generation
- Familiarity with sales forecasting and pipeline management tools
- Certification in sales or a related field
