## About the Role As a Quality Control Analyst II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of mortgage loan files. Your expertise in conventional and government underwriting, quality assurance, and manual underwriting will be essential in verifying required documents and reviewing underwriting guidelines. You will be working in a multiple client environment, where your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects will be valuable assets.

The mortgage banking industry is a complex and highly regulated field, and your in-depth knowledge of AUS systems, including Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter, will be crucial in ensuring compliance and accuracy. ## What You Will Do - Review mortgage loan files to ensure accuracy and completeness - Verify required documents, including credit reports, purchase contracts, appraisals, and title commitments - Review underwriting guidelines for conventional and government loans - Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of AUS systems, including Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter - Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, and other quality control analysts to ensure high-quality services - Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations - Participate in quality control audits and reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy - Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality

## What We Are Looking For - College degree or equivalent work-related experience - At least 3 years of recent experience in conventional and government underwriting and quality assurance/quality control function in the mortgage banking industry - Experience in quality assurance services in a multiple client environment - Strong working knowledge of calculating and verifying income and assets, and evaluating credit reports, purchase contracts, appraisals, and other loan pertinent documentation - In-depth working knowledge of AUS systems, including Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter - Manual underwriting experience, as well as automated - Previous signing authority - Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel - Strong written communication skills - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads - Knowledge of all conventional and government underwriting guidelines for agencies

## Nice to Have - Experience with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) - Knowledge of FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs - Certification in mortgage underwriting or quality control - Experience with quality control audits and reviews
