About the Role

The Quantitative Developer position at CuteMarkets is a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong background in quantitative development and algorithmic trading to join a dynamic team. As a key member of the core team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systematic options strategies, working directly on live trading systems, and analyzing large-scale market data to identify inefficiencies and new signals.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement systematic options strategies from idea to backtest to production
  • Work directly on live trading systems with real capital at risk
  • Analyze large-scale market data to identify inefficiencies and new signals
  • Improve execution, latency, and robustness of existing strategies
  • Own the full lifecycle: research, validation, deployment, monitoring
  • Continuously iterate on models, risk management, and portfolio construction
  • Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience in quantitative development or algorithmic trading
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including math/stats ecosystem
  • Experience with C++ or Scala is a plus
  • Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and numerical methods
  • Experience with backtesting, data pipelines, and performance optimization
  • Ability to work independently and drive ideas end-to-end
  • Interest in markets and building real trading systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
