About the Role
As a Quantum Research Scientist with Python, you will be working on project-based AI opportunities with leading tech companies. Your primary responsibility will be to design original computational physics problems that simulate real physics research workflows. You will be part of a team of specialists who are passionate about testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems.The role involves creating problems that require Python programming to solve, using libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy. You will ensure that these problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes. Your work will have a significant impact on the development of AI systems, and you will have the opportunity to work on diverse physics areas, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
What You Will Do
- Design original computational physics problems that simulate real physics research workflows
- Create problems that require Python programming to solve, using libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and Sympy
- Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes
- Develop problems that require non-trivial reasoning chains in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics
- Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from physics practice
- Verify solutions using Python with standard physics simulation libraries
- Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers
- Participate in project-based opportunities with leading tech companies
- Collaborate with a team of specialists to test, evaluate, and improve AI systems
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Physics (Theoretical, Experimental, or Computational) or related fields
- Python proficiency for numerical validation
- 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching experience
- Experience with numerical simulation methods
- Ability to design problems that mirror real physics research workflows
- Creative thinking in problem design across diverse physics areas
- Familiarity with physics modeling and approximation techniques
- Strong written English (C1+)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Pandas, SciPy, domain-specific libraries, or Stata
