Job Description

About the Role

As a React Frontend Developer at The Corvus Group Inc, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing intuitive and responsive web interfaces for the company's products. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining user-facing features using React and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers. You will work closely with the design and backend teams to ensure that the frontend code is aligned with the overall product vision and requirements.

The role entails a deep understanding of modern React, including hooks, routing, and state management, as well as excellent HTML/CSS fundamentals and experience with responsive layouts and accessibility. You will be responsible for translating design specs into functional and accessible interfaces, integrating REST/GraphQL APIs, and handling client-side state effectively.

The Corvus Group Inc values collaboration and open communication, and as a member of the development team, you will be expected to participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain user-facing features in React and TypeScript
  • Translate Figma/design specs into responsive and accessible interfaces
  • Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and handle client-side state effectively
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards
  • Measure and improve performance metrics such as bundle size, TTI, and Core Web Vitals
  • Contribute to component libraries, documentation, and UI consistency
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that the frontend code is aligned with the overall product vision
  • Work closely with the backend team to ensure seamless API integration

What We Are Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience building production React apps with TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of modern React, including hooks, routing, and state management
  • Excellent HTML/CSS fundamentals and experience with responsive layouts and accessibility
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and version control systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
  • Experience with integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and handling auth, errors, and loading states

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other frontend frameworks and libraries
  • Knowledge of UI design principles and human-computer interaction
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker
