About the Role
Remote VA is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage financial records for real estate properties.Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Utilize Appfolio software for financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate accounting
- Proficiency in Appfolio software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
