## About the Role The Reconciliation Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reports for Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Inc. This will involve reviewing and analyzing complex financial data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing processes to prevent errors. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will work closely with program managers, coordinators, and other staff to produce client final invoices. The role is based in the United States and will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In terms of team context, the Reconciliation Analyst will report to the Manager of Reconciliation and Compliance and will work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and client services.
## What You Will Do - Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations - Implement processes to prevent errors and improve the accuracy of financial reports - Work with program managers, coordinators, and other staff to produce client final invoices - Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and client services - Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry trends - Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on financial compliance and reporting - Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements - Manage and maintain accurate and complete financial records and reports - Ensure all financial reports are submitted on time and to the required standard
## What We Are Looking For - 2+ years of experience in a financial reconciliation or compliance role - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, with experience of financial reporting and analysis - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of financial regulations and industry trends, with experience of implementing processes to ensure compliance - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field - Experience of working in a remote team environment, with ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
## Nice to Have - Experience of working in the events or hospitality industry - Knowledge of HCP transparency reporting and compliance - Experience of managing and maintaining financial records and reports - Certification in financial analysis or accounting, such as CPA or CFA
