What You Will Do
- Record everyday household activities from a first-person perspective, including but not limited to cooking, cleaning, tidying up, folding laundry, gardening, and walking the dog.
- Mount your smartphone or camera device at forehead or eye-level to capture footage from an egocentric perspective, ensuring a downward angle to maximize hand visibility.
- Follow short recording guidelines per session to ensure high-quality footage.
- Upload videos through the designated project app.
- Ensure all video footage is clear, stable, well-lit, at least 15 seconds long, and accurately depicts useful, intentional tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.
- Record in your own home, yard, garage, or workspace, providing a diverse range of environments for AI training.
- Utilize the designated 'D&A' application for all data capture and upload.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of the recordings, adhering to the project's quality control standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Ownership or access to a smartphone or alternative camera device capable of 30 FPS or greater and 1080p resolution or greater.
- Familiarity with iPhone 11 or newer, Google Pixel 6+, or Samsung Galaxy S21+, with a wide-angle/0.5x lens.
- Ability to mount the device at forehead or eye-level for an egocentric perspective.
- Basic understanding of digital technologies and the ability to learn new tools and applications.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, as this is a project-based, remote opportunity.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality recordings.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to recording guidelines.
