About the Role

The Recruiter, Go To Market position at OpenAI is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering company in the AI research and deployment sector. As a key member of the Recruiting team, you will focus on identifying and engaging top talent for Go-to-Market roles, including Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Solutions. Your expertise in full-cycle recruitment, coupled with your ability to develop proactive hiring strategies, will be instrumental in driving the growth of OpenAI's teams.

The Recruiting team at OpenAI is dedicated to connecting exceptional individuals with meaningful, high-impact work. As a Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and global recruitment colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective hiring process. Your role will involve managing the recruitment process from initial role definition to offer acceptance, negotiating offers, and providing expert advice to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing and candidate evaluation.

What You Will Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for Go-to-Market roles, including identifying talent needs, managing the recruitment process, and negotiating offers.
  • Develop proactive hiring strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental objectives and ensure that recruitment efforts are targeted and effective.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing strategies and tools to attract and engage top-tier candidates.
  • Provide expert advice and support to hiring managers on best practices in interviewing, candidate evaluation, and employment branding.
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience by representing OpenAI professionally and upholding the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as HR, Legal, and Compensation, to ensure compliance and operational excellence throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and develop strategies to improve the recruitment process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, particularly within in-house environments at high-growth companies.
  • A strong track record of hiring for Go-to-Market roles, including Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across cultures.
  • A high level of adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to evolve processes to meet global hiring needs.
  • Proficiency with ATS and sourcing platforms, such as Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience with advanced sourcing strategies and tools, including social media and online platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and develop strategies to improve the recruitment process.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with diversity and inclusion initiatives, including strategies to attract and engage diverse talent.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, including their applications in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Certification in recruitment or a related field, such as a Certified Recruiter (CR) or a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification.
