The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of published reels, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a reel go viral. You will be fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

What You Will Do

• Edit short-form reels and podcast clips from raw creator content and interviews
• Identify scroll-stopping moments that resonate with target audiences
• Analyze trends in creator niches and propose fresh reel concepts tailored to each model's brand and personality
• Ensure platform compliance, including proper framing, audio, and age-appropriate content
• Collaborate with the creative team to refine edits based on feedback and achieve viral impact
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in short-form video content
• Work closely with the team to brainstorm new and innovative ideas for content formats
• Participate in regular feedback sessions to discuss progress and areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in editing software and technology

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience editing short-form content for Instagram and TikTok
• A strong portfolio of published reels, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a reel go viral
• Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills
• Expert-level proficiency in CapCut, with experience in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro highly valued
• Ability to work on macOS and demonstrate a commitment to professional-grade workflow and quality standards
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify viral moments and execute polished edits
• Creative ownership and aesthetic vision, with the ability to develop and maintain a unique and innovative style
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working with a team of creatives to develop and produce high-quality content
• Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in short-form video content
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and the ability to track and analyze engagement metrics
• Experience with captioning and subtitling software
