Regional Continuous Improvement Manager - Southern Central Coverage

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies across Valmont sites
• Identify, communicate, and remove obstacles to performance
• Assist teams in resolving conflicts to achieve optimal improvement
• Train and coach managers, supervisors, and staff in a broad range of CI tools and practices
• Lead a value stream mapping workshop and facilitate improvement actions based on data to ensure flow
• Analyze production processes, cost drivers, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Engage employees at all levels to drive change and improvement
• Develop and manage CI project plans and timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or associate degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio) and CI project management tools
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple CI methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Theory of Constraints, Business Process Improvement)
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional improvement projects and delivering measurable business results
• Solid understanding of production processes, cost drivers, and operational metrics
• Effective facilitation skills and the ability to engage employees at all levels
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
• Ability to travel domestically between 50-75%

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
• Certification in a CI methodology (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
• Experience with project management software
