About the Role
The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across Valmont sites. This position focuses on identifying and removing obstacles to performance, assisting teams in resolving conflicts, and training staff in CI tools and practices. As a key member of the team, the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager will work closely with managers, supervisors, and staff to achieve optimal improvement.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role involve analyzing production processes, cost drivers, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of these factors and be able to engage employees at all levels to drive change. With a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CI project management tools, the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager will be well-equipped to lead cross-functional improvement projects and deliver measurable business results.

What You Will Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies across Valmont sites
- Identify, communicate, and remove obstacles to performance
- Assist teams in resolving conflicts to achieve optimal improvement
- Train and coach managers, supervisors, and staff in a broad range of CI tools and practices
- Lead a value stream mapping workshop and facilitate improvement actions based on data to ensure flow
- Analyze production processes, cost drivers, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Engage employees at all levels to drive change and improvement
- Develop and manage CI project plans and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or associate degree with 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, or continuous improvement
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Visio) and CI project management tools
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple CI methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Theory of Constraints, Business Process Improvement)
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional improvement projects and delivering measurable business results
- Solid understanding of production processes, cost drivers, and operational metrics
- Effective facilitation skills and the ability to engage employees at all levels
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities
- Ability to travel domestically between 50-75%
