About the Role
The Regional Controller Europe and Global Head of FP&A, Analysis, and M&A at SGS will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and financial excellence across the organization. As a key member of the Business Assurance Global Finance Team, this leader will oversee global financial planning and analysis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial insights to inform strategic decisions. With a strong focus on collaboration, this role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT, to drive business outcomes.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of financial professionals, including an FP&A Manager, and will be expected to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. With a strong emphasis on leadership and strategic thinking, this role will require a high degree of analytical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills.

What You Will Do
- Lead global FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate strategies and organizational priorities
- Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, including an FP&A Manager
- Prepare and present financial insights and analysis to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
- Support leadership in all figure-related tasks, ensuring high-quality outputs for decision-making and strategic discussions
- Take part in screening M&A opportunities, challenging acquisition cases, and supporting due diligence processes
- Support financial integration of acquired companies to align processes and group reporting requirements
- Partner with teams on business growth initiatives, including evaluating financial feasibility and conducting due diligence
- Point of contact with Group Corporate Finance, including Group Control, Treasury, and Finance Shared Service Centers
- Go-to person for Country Business managers for finance-related topics and for local Finance for Global business-related topics
- Lead and support M&A activities, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial integration of acquired entities and alignment with group reporting standards
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred)
- Extensive experience (minimum 15 years) in financial controlling, FP&A, or business partnering roles, ideally within a multi-regional corporate context
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering actionable insights
- Proven ability to present financial data effectively to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in financial tools and systems, including Excel, Oracle ERP systems, and BI tools
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in M&A, including experience in financial due diligence, integration processes, and supporting strategic acquisition decisions
- Fluency in English is a must-have, with fluency in German being a strong advantage
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a global company with a multinational environment
- Knowledge of the TIC industry and its trends
- Experience with financial planning and analysis software, such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights
- Certification in a professional accounting or finance designation, such as CPA or CFA
