About the Role

The Regional Director, Enterprise Sales is a key leadership position at Fivetran, responsible for driving the company's enterprise sales strategy and leading a team of high-achieving account executives. This role is critical to Fivetran's continued growth and success, as it will focus on developing and executing plans to expand the company's presence in key markets. The Regional Director will report directly to the RVP of Enterprise Sales and will be a foundational leader in the company's enterprise business.

As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and developing a team of talented sales professionals who can drive revenue growth and expansion in Fivetran's strategic accounts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the company's GTM strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of enterprise account executives, providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them achieve their sales targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expansion in Fivetran's strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product, to ensure alignment and effective execution of the company's GTM strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at Fivetran's largest and most strategic customers
  • Drive a high-accountability culture within the sales team, emphasizing the importance of sales rigor, discipline, and process
  • Champion outstanding sales execution, leveraging value-based selling methodologies and a deep understanding of Fivetran's products and services
  • Ensure excellence in sales forecasting, providing accurate and timely predictions of sales performance to the executive leadership team
  • Work closely with the revenue operations team to optimize sales processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to drive growth and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Fivetran's partners, including system integrators, global system integrators, and technology partners, to drive co-selling opportunities and expand the company's reach

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership, with a proven track record of recruiting and retaining high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategies and sales methodologies, with experience in value-based selling and sales forecasting
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of sales professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at Fivetran's largest customers
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive sales process improvements and optimize sales performance
  • Experience with sales tools and technologies, including CRM, sales automation, and sales analytics
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the technology industry and the trends and challenges that are shaping it

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the data analytics or cloud computing industries
  • Familiarity with Fivetran's products and services, or experience working with similar technologies
  • Certification in sales methodologies, such as Command of the Message or MEDDPICC
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
