About the Role
The Regional Director - UK/I Strategic Accounts is a key leadership position at Gitlab, responsible for driving growth across the UK and Ireland. As a sales leader, you will develop and execute regional sales plans, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and coach a regional sales team to grow pipeline, close complex opportunities, and expand customer value. You will work closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Customer Success, Ecosystems, and Sales to create a strong customer experience and bring Gitlab's value to strategic accounts across the region.The ideal candidate will have experience in leading sales teams, driving revenue growth, and expanding customer relationships. You will be responsible for analyzing market dynamics, maximizing existing successes, and creating new sales growth opportunities. Your ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and develop a strong executive call plan will be essential to your success in this role.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute regional sales plans that align territory priorities, account growth, forecasting, and team performance to support Gitlab's revenue goals
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across strategic accounts while coaching a regional sales team to grow pipeline, close complex opportunities, and expand customer value
- Lead and execute best-in-class sales strategies that exceed revenue and growth targets for the team
- Develop and execute strategies focused on expanding the client base within the territory
- Maintain close contact with assigned accounts by establishing strong relationships with key decision makers
- Analyze market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities
- Drive the transformation to a solution-selling approach, focusing on growing our top-tier client base and positioning our offerings as transformational solutions
- Prioritize customer adoption and consumption, working directly with customers to ensure that they derive maximum value from our solutions
- Lead efforts to explore and execute verticalization as a model for scaling, providing strong strategic leadership and direction
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the tech industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Adjust, and Excel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and develop a strong executive call plan
- Experience in leading sales teams, coaching, and developing talent
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
