About the Role

The Regional Health Programs Sales Director plays a pivotal role in driving the sales and business development of health programs within a designated region for Kaplan. This involves managing all aspects of institutional sales, developing and executing strategic growth strategies, and fostering strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The successful candidate will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering high-quality educational experiences and making a positive impact in the healthcare sector.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth strategy and business plan to achieve revenue goals within the designated region.
  • Identify, acquire, and retain new customers, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
  • Deliver sales results above committed expectations and continuously strive to improve performance.
  • Create and progress a new business sales funnel, reporting on all sales activities through Salesforce for accurate forecasting.
  • Present Kaplan's health resources and simulations to prospective new customers in a compelling and professional manner.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge to conduct demos and handle objections effectively.
  • Participate in network-building opportunities, including conferences and trade shows, to promote Kaplan's offerings and build relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Success Managers, Implementation Managers, and Product Managers, to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Manage multiple projects and deals simultaneously, balancing competing priorities with ease.
  • Dedicate time to continual learning, attending sales meetings, and product seminars to improve sales skills and stay updated on new products.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in managing customer relationships and sales growth.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategic growth plans.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
