Job Description

About the Role

Gitlab is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a high-performing sales organization focused on State, Local, and Education (SLED) business. The successful candidate will drive new and expansion revenue across SLED agencies, acting as a co-captain with senior leadership while managing, coaching, and growing a team of Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a field-based sales team to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and execute large deal strategies and C-level negotiations
  • Collaborate with Renewals, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align go-to-market approach for regulated environments

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience in SLED or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Adjust
  • Ability to manage complex federal procurement motions and build durable, land-and-expand growth
