About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager for new accounts in the public sector at CrowdStrike is a critical role that entails driving business growth through the identification, qualification, and closure of new customer revenue. This field sales position requires a deep understanding of enterprise security software solutions and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive business plans tailored to each account. As a key member of the sales team, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Account Managers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and adoption of CrowdStrike's products.

The role is centered around building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector, understanding their core business requirements, and mapping the benefits of CrowdStrike's solutions to these needs. This involves a high degree of autonomy, as the role is primarily performed in the field, away from the home office or company location. What You Will Do

  • Prospects, identifies, qualifies, and closes new customer revenue within assigned public sector accounts.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of CrowdStrike's solutions to these needs.
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders during customer onboarding, accelerated adoption of products, and eventual transition of accounts to expansion/renewal-focused Account Managers.
  • Timely documentation within CRM/Marketing software of customer contact and activity data is required, including names, titles, contact information, opportunity value, product information, sales stages, probability, business pain, and firm-future commitments.
  • Accountable for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and the implementation of agreed account and business plans.
  • Promotes CrowdStrike's products, maximizes brand recognition and mindshare at all levels, and publicizes success stories.
  • Provides customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvement.
  • Collaborates with other teams, including Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Customer Support, as well as external parties such as Alliance and Channel Partners.
  • Develops post-close relationships within newly won accounts during the initial months, ensuring a smooth transition to long-term account management.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or software industry, with a proven track record of success in managing new accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Expert-level knowledge of selling enterprise security software solutions, with a deep understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high degree of autonomy and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools, with the ability to accurately document customer interactions and sales activities.
  • A strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the challenges faced by public sector institutions.

  • Experience working with flexible and scalable licensing models, such as Falcon Flex.
-Certifications in cybersecurity or sales, such as CISSP or CSS.
  • Fluency in French, given the role's focus on the French market.
