About the Role

The Regional Vice President of New Business Sales at Twilio is a pivotal role that drives the company's growth engine, transforming customer engagement with AI. Reporting directly to the VP of APJ, you will be responsible for leading the next phase of Twilio's evolution, helping organizations across Greater China, India, Southeast Asia, and Korea leverage Voice and AI to revolutionize how they interact with their customers.

As the 'Hunter-in-Chief,' you will manage a substantial portfolio while driving aggressive new business acquisition across the complex SEA and North Asia landscapes. Your expertise in GTM and Excel will be instrumental in constructing a predictable business model capable of exceeding ambitious quarterly and annual growth targets.

What You Will Do

  • Build the Growth Engine: Construct a predictable business model capable of exceeding ambitious quarterly and annual growth targets through new customer acquisition.
  • Architect the Strategy: Establish a multi-year strategy to expand Twilio's footprint across Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, tailoring GTM approaches to the varying market maturities of SEA, RoA, India, and Greater China.
  • Evangelize AI & Platform: Drive deep, transformative engagements centered on AI-driven customer engagement and the full Twilio platform.
  • Empower a World-Class Team: Hire, mentor, and lead an 'A-team' of Growth Account Executives and Managers, providing tactical deal guidance, strategic coaching, and career development through active 1:1 mentorship.
  • Operational Excellence: Operationalize GTM partner motions and build repeatable outbound programs to ensure a robust, high-quality sales pipeline.
  • Be a Customer Champion: Engage with software engineering leaders, product managers, and C-suite executives to drive innovation across diverse use cases.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand Twilio's customer base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive business growth.
