About the Role
As a Regional Vice President of Sales at Salsify, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth, and expanding the company's strategic customer base. This role is critical to Salsify's continued success, as the company scales its commerce infrastructure and navigates the path fromThe sales team at Salsify is committed to collaborating cross-functionally with internal partners, including Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Product, to optimize sales and customer satisfaction. As a leader, you will be expected to embody Salsify's core values, fostering an inclusive and equitable team culture that promotes diversity and autonomy.
In this role, you will be working closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Your experience in managing complex sales cycles, negotiating deals, and developing long-term relationships with customers will be essential in driving success.
What You Will Do
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 Strategic Account Managers to drive growth from Salsify's largest and most strategic customers
- Develop and execute account management plans to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and renewals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Product, to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
- Participate in client meetings, including personally driving sales deals and contributing to Salsify's revenue goals
- Develop and execute renewal processes and strategies, ensuring compliance with internal data management and reporting requirements
- Use Salesforce to manage sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions
- Provide value in complex negotiations and the closing of upsell business, leveraging Salsify Senior Executives to maximize results
- Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
- Recommend and implement improvements to achieve sales goals
- Cultivate lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practices
What We Are Looking For
- 5-10 years of previous IC sales experience, preferably in Global Enterprise/Strategic Sales in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment
- 3-5 years of strategic sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of building and developing highly effective sales talent
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to recruit and motivate high-performing teams
- Solid understanding of sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics
- Experience with Salesforce and Adjust, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive sales growth
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Passion for leading highly experienced sales professionals in a global, strategic account environment
