About the Role

Stripe is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to join its North America Regulatory Legal team. The ideal candidate will provide strategic and practical financial regulatory advice to enable Stripe's mission of helping businesses grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide regulatory advice and support to Stripe's compliance, policy, product, engineering, finance, and partnerships teams
  • Advise on US and Canadian payments, money transmission, and banking laws
  • Support new product development, engage with Stripe's regulators, and shape Stripe's positions on regulatory developments

Requirements

  • Experience advising on US and Canadian payments laws
  • Strong understanding of financial technology, payments, and financial services
  • Proficiency in Excel
