About the Role
The Remote Banker position at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality customer experiences while working in a dynamic, remote environment. As a key member of the banking team, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing various customer transactions, ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures, and projecting a professional image of the bank in all interactions.Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing a wide range of customer transactions, from cash deposits and withdrawals to cheque processing and account transfers, all while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The role also involves handling inbound calls, resolving customer queries, and escalating issues when necessary.

What You Will Do
- Process teller service transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, cash withdrawals, cheque withdrawals, and accounts transfers.
- Deliver exceptional customer experience through polite and courteous interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle additional tasks and assignments as required by the management team.
- Report machine or application errors and cash disputes promptly, following established procedures.
- Check ITM balance and available denominations regularly to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure effective productivity by meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets set by the management.
- Handle inbound calls according to procedures, guidelines, and schedules set by the organization.
- Escalate customer queries and disputes as necessary, providing solutions or directing customers to appropriate channels.
- Explain ITM services and answer customer questions related to these services.
- Proactively cross-sell various bank products to qualifying customers or callers.
- Adhere to all ADIB policies, the ADIB code of ethics, and customer protection regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- General knowledge of ADIB's institutional and retail banking products and services.
- Knowledge of ADIB's operational policies and procedures.
- Understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
- Familiarity with anti-money laundering regulations issued by the UAE Central Bank and other regulatory advisors.
- Good knowledge of cross-selling skills and the ability to promote bank products effectively.
- Good personal, audio, and video communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to take ownership and demonstrate good judgment in problem handling.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant banking software.
- Ability to work on shifts and extra hours when required.
