A background in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is highly relevant, as well as equivalent practical experience in permit expediting, municipal plan review, architecture, or jurisdictional permitting.

The team you will be working with is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to clients, and you will be expected to contribute to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

What You Will Do

  • Review construction documents, permit applications, site plans, inspection reports, plan sets, and supporting regulatory materials against applicable building codes, zoning requirements, and jurisdictional rules.

  • Support structured review of residential, commercial, mixed-use, or specialized construction permitting workflows.
  • Prepare clear written explanations for code and permitting conclusions based on source materials and verifiable criteria.
  • Annotate and validate construction-related datasets involving code requirements, permitting steps, inspection items, zoning rules, and compliance elements.
  • Review AI-generated permit summaries, compliance recommendations, plan review outputs, and regulatory reasoning to provide structured feedback.
  • Contribute to annotation standards, review guidelines, onboarding materials, and quality-control documentation.
  • Support the development of structured review of California, Texas, Florida, or similar high-volume permitting jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality services to clients, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Background in one or more areas such as permit application preparation, agency coordination, plan review, building code interpretation, inspection workflows, zoning compliance, variances, or jurisdictional rule analysis.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes in California, Texas, Florida, or comparable U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex workflows into clear documentation.
  • Ability to read and prepare construction and permitting artifacts such as permit applications, site plans, plan sets, inspection reports, code summaries, zoning notes, and compliance documentation.
  • Educational background in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, urban planning, building inspection, code enforcement, public administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent practical experience in permit expediting, municipal plan review, architecture, construction compliance, inspection coordination, or jurisdictional permitting.

Nice to Have
