Job Description
About the Role
As a remote West Virginia Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney, you will be working with a national network of experienced attorneys and paralegals to provide on-demand support for client law firms. This role will require you to work approximately 10+ hours per week, with a focus on providing in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, and mediations, as well as virtual hearing and deposition coverage.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience handling plaintiff-side employment law cases, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation claims. You will be working closely with a team of attorneys and staff to support ongoing litigation matters and provide expertise in employment law.

What You Will Do
- Provide in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Provide virtual hearing and deposition coverage as needed
- Review employment law case files and assist with case strategy
- Support wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation claims
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other employment law documents
- Assist with case management and help move matters forward efficiently
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support ongoing litigation matters
- Provide expertise in employment law to client law firms
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed to practice law in the State of West Virginia
- Located in North or Central West Virginia, preferably in or near the Morgantown area
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience handling plaintiff-side employment law cases
- Strong understanding of employment law, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims
- Experience with case review, litigation strategy, and case management
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
