About the Role
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician position at Light Counseling offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, faith-based telehealth services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. As a remote clinician, you will work independently while being part of an integrated team of administrative and clinical professionals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering counseling services, collaborating with clients to identify concerns and develop treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage your caseload and work schedule, allowing for a better work-life balance. What You Will Do
- Provide remote counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups
- Collaborate with clients to identify concerns, define counseling goals, and develop actionable treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and company policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, meetings, and training opportunities
- Integrate Christian faith and psychological best practices in therapy as appropriate
- Refer clients to other resources or specialists as needed
- Engage in occasional community outreach or ministry initiatives relevant to Light Counseling’s mission
- Provide clinical supervision or mentorship to interns and residents (if qualified)
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted license in Indiana (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW)
- Strong commitment to Christian faith and active membership in a local church
- Up-to-date CAQH profile and professional liability insurance
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate documentation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
Nice to Have
- Experience with faith-based counseling or ministry
- Knowledge of diagnostic assessment tools and treatment planning
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
