About the Role
The Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role at Thriveworks involves providing high-quality mental health care to a diverse population of clients across various age groups, primarily adults and adolescents. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with clients to assess their mental health needs, develop personalized care plans, and prescribe medication as necessary. You will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering excellent care and support to clients.What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
- Prescribe medication and other treatments as necessary to manage mental health symptoms
- Collaborate with clients to create and achieve treatment goals
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and standards of care
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care
- Utilize AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR to document client interactions and manage care plans
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active prescriptive authority in the state of Georgia
- Board certification required
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatry practice
- Three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is a plus
- Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and telemedicine platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience working with telemedicine platforms and technology
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more
- Familiarity with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and standards of care
- Certification in ADHD treatment and management
