About the Role

The Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role at Thriveworks involves providing high-quality mental health care to a diverse population of clients across various age groups, primarily adults and adolescents. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with clients to assess their mental health needs, develop personalized care plans, and prescribe medication as necessary. You will be part of a dynamic team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering excellent care and support to clients.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances
  • Prescribe medication and other treatments as necessary to manage mental health symptoms
  • Collaborate with clients to create and achieve treatment goals
  • Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
  • Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and standards of care
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in psychiatric care
  • Utilize AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR to document client interactions and manage care plans

What We Are Looking For

  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with active prescriptive authority in the state of Georgia
  • Board certification required
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatry practice
  • Three years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is a plus
  • Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is beneficial
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and telemedicine platforms

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with telemedicine platforms and technology
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more
  • Familiarity with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and standards of care
  • Certification in ADHD treatment and management
