About the Role
As a remote recruiter for Upgrade Resources, you will be at the forefront of filling critical roles in the construction, industrial, and utilities sectors. Your day-to-day will involve managing a pipeline of potential candidates, leveraging digital tools to source, screen, and submit top talent to clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Upgrade Resources maintains its strong roster of national and regional clients by providing them with the skilled workers they need to succeed. What You Will Do
- Source, screen, and submit candidates for roles across our client roster, focusing on skilled trades, construction, industrial, and sales positions.
- Manage your pipeline using our ATS (Manatal) and our AI-assisted candidate evaluation system to streamline your workflow.
- Conduct thorough phone screens, technical qualification calls, and submission write-ups to ensure the best candidates are presented to clients.
- Run strategic searches on LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and utilize Boolean searches to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential candidates.
- Collaborate with our team on shared roles and client strategy, contributing your expertise to develop effective recruitment plans.
- Manage candidates through the full lifecycle, from initial contact through placement and follow-up, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve your skills and performance.
- Provide feedback and insights to clients on market conditions, candidate availability, and other recruitment-related matters.
- Utilize technology, including CRM systems and recruitment software, to efficiently manage your work and enhance candidate and client interactions.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in an agency or in-house role, with a track record of success in filling skilled trades, construction, or industrial positions.
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills, with the ability to manage your time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling candidate submissions that resonate with clients.
- Comfort and proficiency with technology, including ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and AI tools.
- A 'hunter' mentality, with a proactive approach to sourcing and engaging top talent.
- Reliable internet access, a quiet workspace, and the ability to work from anywhere within the United States.
- Experience with commission-based or contract recruiting structures is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM, Indeed, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools.
- Previous experience recruiting in skilled trades, construction, MEP, transmission, utilities, or industrial sectors is highly valued but not required, as training is available for the right candidate.
