About the Role
ModSquad is seeking a skilled Social Media Engagement moderator to join their team. As a Social Media Engagement moderator, you will play a crucial role in promoting specific locations as attractive holiday destinations through a world-class marketing program and multiple social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to inform, engage, and inspire potential visitors through email, community forums, and social media.The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent writing skills in English and French, and the ability to communicate tone in a creative manner on social media. You will be working closely with the marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies that drive user engagement and conversion.
What You Will Do
- Manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
- Engage with users on social media, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and implement social media strategies to drive user engagement and conversion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute content that promotes specific locations as attractive holiday destinations
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
- Analyze social media metrics to track engagement and conversion rates
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and crises on social media
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and maximize impact
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in social media engagement or a related field
- Excellent writing skills in English and French, with the ability to communicate tone in a creative manner on social media
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
- Experience with social media tools, such as Conversocial
- Geographical knowledge of Ireland and places of interest on the island
- Travel experience and a passion for exploring new destinations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working with proactive engagement across social media channels
- Experience with social media analytics tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social
- Knowledge of content management systems, such as WordPress or Drupal
