Job Description

About the Role

The Repair & NPI Deployment Leader will play a critical role in driving the development and deployment of new repairs and tooling for GE Vernova's Global Onshore Wind Services & Installation Business. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful rollout of new processes and technologies.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve collaborating with various teams, including Repair & Installation Engineering, Product Line, Regional Execution Teams, and EHS. The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels will be essential. The role will also involve leading global validations and beta periods, establishing validation teams, and identifying site locations, logistics, and work instructions.

As a leader in the organization, the Repair & NPI Deployment Leader will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and lean efforts to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This will involve analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize processes and reduce waste.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the development and deployment of new repairs and tooling for the Global Onshore Wind Services & Installation Business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout of new processes and technologies
  • Establish global training requirements and strategies for new tool and repair products
  • Lead full operational deployment, including cost-benefit alignment, procurement planning, and logistics requirements
  • Provide technical direction and support to ensure tasks are completed safely, with quality, and within standards
  • Lead continuous improvement and lean efforts to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to optimize processes and reduce waste
  • Develop and deploy new processes and repairs solutions globally
  • Establish global validation teams and lead beta periods for new tooling and processes
  • Identify site locations, logistics, and work instructions for global validations

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time, including international travel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document, plan, and execute programs
  • Established project management skills, with proficiency in technical writing and process documentation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work across all functions and levels as part of a team
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, with a strong focus on safety and detail orientation
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data and drive continuous improvement

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with crane-less major component exchange development or execution
  • Experience with major component exchange and/or installation field execution
  • REDP (Renewable Energy Development Program), RELP (Renewable Energy Leadership Program), or FEP (Field Engineering Program) graduate
  • Lean, Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality certification
