About the Role
As a Research Engineer at Elevenlabs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's text-to-speech technology. This will involve creating and upholding a reliable and expandable data management system, establishing guidelines for versioning and ensuring data quality. You will also be tasked with streamlining the process for autonomously training, assessing, and launching text-to-speech models.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and software engineering, with experience in constructing data pipelines and developing machine learning models. You will be working closely with a team of researchers and engineers to drive innovation and excellence in the AI industry.
What You Will Do
- Create and maintain a reliable and expandable data management system for text-to-speech projects
- Establish guidelines for versioning and ensure data quality
- Streamline the process for autonomously training, assessing, and launching text-to-speech models
- Investigate cutting-edge approaches and strategies in machine learning, deep learning, and algorithms related to text-to-speech technology
- Develop and implement machine learning models for text-to-speech projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in the AI industry
- Design and develop new features and services for the company's platforms
- Work with large datasets to develop and train machine learning models
- Participate in the development of the company's technical roadmap

What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of industry experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong background in machine learning, software engineering, and data management
- Experience with constructing data pipelines and developing machine learning models
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data structures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
