About the Role
The Reservations Agent role at Auberge Collection is a vital part of the guest services team, responsible for managing room reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring that every interaction with the resort is nothing short of exceptional. As a Reservations Agent, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, and your ability to create a warm and welcoming experience will set the tone for their entire stay. What You Will Do
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding room reservations, availability, and general questions about accommodations, pricing, and special offers
- Manage room reservations, ensuring that all bookings are accurate and up-to-date
- Resolve any challenges that may arise during a guest's stay, working closely with the guest services team and other departments to ensure that every guest's needs are met
- Upsell services and offerings, ensuring that every guest is aware of the resort's many amenities and activities
- Work closely with the sales team to promote the resort's services and offerings
- Ensure that all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any challenges that may arise
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that every guest's stay is truly unforgettable
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure that your skills and knowledge are up-to-date
What We Are Looking For
- 2 years of experience in a hospitality, spa, or reservations position, preferably at a luxury resort
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and data
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage room reservations and guest information
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments and team members to ensure that every guest's needs are met
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve challenges and think critically
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Gracious people and sales skills, with the ability to upsell services and offerings
- Excellent phone manner, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members
