## What You Will Do - Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Certified Medical Assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Manage and support patients on Advanced BiPAP ST, AVAPS, IVAPS, ASV, and other complex respiratory devices.
- Assist CPAP patients with specialized needs, ensuring they receive tailored support and therapy.
- Recommend adjustments to PAP settings and create orders in electronic medical records to reflect these changes.
- Educate and coach patients on CPAP devices and care, empowering them to manage their condition effectively.
- Identify and address barriers to compliance for advanced PAP machine patients, developing strategies to improve adherence.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to escalate any concerns and coordinate patient care.
- Coordinate and order CPAP supplies for advanced PAP machines, ensuring patients have access to necessary equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, reflecting the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
- Stay current on respiratory therapy practices, attending training sessions and workshops as required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures, including the latest advancements in the field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- BLS certification, ensuring you are equipped to respond to emergency situations.
- Experience with electronic medical records, with the ability to create and manage patient orders and records.
