About the Role

The AI Transformation Leader at GE Vernova is a pivotal role that will spearhead the development and execution of the company's AI transformation program for the Grid Systems Integration (GSI) branch. This leader will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Business Line Leader to define the AI strategy and translate it into concrete initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, execution, quality, and decision-making across the organization. The role's primary objective is to identify high-value use cases, restructure workflows and operational models in line with the "Lean" strategy, and ensure the successful deployment of AI initiatives, fostering their adoption across the organization to achieve measurable business impact.

Day-to-day, the AI Transformation Leader will navigate a complex landscape of operational, engineering, project management, commercial, supply chain, IT, digital, legal, compliance, and group teams. This multifaceted role requires a leader who can navigate these diverse stakeholders, driving alignment and ensuring that AI initiatives are not only deployed but also deeply ingrained in the company's operational fabric.

The AI Transformation Leader will initially oversee a small team of project managers and data analysts supporting the AI transformation program. This role offers the opportunity to develop and lead a team that will play a critical part in GE Vernova's digital transformation journey.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the COO and Business Line Leader to define the vision, priorities, and roadmap for AI transformation in GSI.
  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases that can improve operational efficiency, execution performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business priorities and focused on delivering concrete, measurable results.
  • Pilot the end-to-end execution of AI initiatives, from opportunity identification through deployment, including pilot projects, scaling, and value realization.
  • Build and manage a balanced portfolio of initiatives that balance short-term impact with long-term capability development.
  • Guarantee rigorous program management, stakeholder alignment, and execution discipline across all initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and functional leaders to improve key processes through AI and advanced analytics, targeting areas such as engineering productivity, project execution, bidding, planning, supply chain, quality, reporting, and functional productivity.
  • Define and track performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable business impact in terms of cycles, costs, quality, delivery performance, and adoption.
-Lead and develop a team of project managers and data analysts, establishing priorities, operational rhythm, and governance.
  • Work closely with the internal Foundry to leverage existing AI, data, digital, and technology capabilities to accelerate solution delivery and scaling.
  • Act as the primary interface between the business and the Foundry to translate operational priorities into scalable solutions.
  • Develop and manage strategic external partnerships.
