Job Description

About the Role

The AI Transformation Leader will be at the forefront of GE Vernova's effort to integrate Artificial Intelligence across its operations, particularly within the Grid Systems Integration branch. This role is pivotal in defining and executing the company's AI strategy, working closely with the COO and Business Line Manager to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. The position involves identifying high-value use cases, restructuring workflows, and deploying AI initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. Given the remote nature of this role, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners will be essential.

The role's success will be measured by its impact on operational efficiency, cost savings, and the ability to scale AI solutions across the organization. As such, the AI Transformation Leader will not only need to be well-versed in AI technologies but also possess strong leadership and project management skills to guide a team of project managers and data analysts. Initially, the focus will be on building a strong foundation for AI transformation, which will involve developing strategic partnerships and leveraging internal capabilities to accelerate solution delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Define and execute the AI transformation strategy for Grid Systems Integration, aligning with the company's overall business priorities.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases that can significantly impact operational efficiency, execution performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with operational and business leaders to design and implement AI-driven solutions that meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and manage a balanced portfolio of AI initiatives, ensuring a mix of short-term impact and long-term capability development.
  • Ensure rigorous program management, stakeholder alignment, and execution discipline across all AI initiatives.
  • Work closely with the internal Foundry to leverage existing AI, data, digital, and technology capabilities to accelerate solution deployment.
  • Build and manage external strategic partnerships to support AI transformation goals.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers and data analysts, setting priorities, operational rhythm, and governance.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes.
