About the Role

Power Digital Marketing, a leading tech-enabled growth firm, is seeking a highly motivated Retail Marketplace Search Ads Intern to join their dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Retail Marketing Advertising team, learning the intricacies of strategic Amazon selling, crafting winning ad campaigns, and assisting with paid search efforts. The role entails supporting the Retail Marketing Advertising team in strategy, production, and client work, attending client calls, and collaborating on cross-channel projects. You will gain a deep understanding of retail marketing and its strategy when paired with other channels across the agency. As part of Power Digital Marketing's commitment to growth and development, you will participate in trainings and complete tasks to understand Retail Advertising strategy for selling products on Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers. You will work directly under the guidance of experienced Retail Marketing Advertising strategists and directors, ensuring you receive the mentorship needed to succeed in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Retail Marketing Advertising team in strategy, production, and client work
  • Participate in trainings to understand Retail Advertising strategy for selling products on Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers
  • Work on cross-channel accounts to develop an understanding of retail marketing and its strategy when paired with other channels across the agency
  • Attend client calls and strategy meetings
  • Assist with advertising strategy with paid search retail ads
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how to create and execute a strong and complete Advertising strategy on Amazon
  • Analyze marketplace data to inform advertising decisions
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and projects
  • Utilize Microsoft Suite for project management and communication
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in retail marketing and paid advertising

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding editing and proofreading skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze marketplace data (Revenue, Traffic, Conversion Rate, etc.)
  • Interest in paid channels, particularly in the context of retail marketing
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Advertising, eCommerce, or a related field
