Job Description

About the Role

Gusto is seeking a Staff Engineer to build and maintain the data infrastructure at Gusto Retirement. This cross-functional role involves partnering with engineering teams, Product, Data Science and Analysts, Compliance, and Operations teams to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine infrastructure and tools that enable other teams to work with data
  • Take full ownership of solutions, partnering with other teams and stakeholders to refine ideas, shape scope, implement solutions, monitor production, and troubleshoot problems
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate with existing systems and unblock dependencies
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support the deployment of supported platform services and the management of the underlying infrastructure
