About the Role
The Retirement Plan Consultant plays a vital role in providing objective guidance to plan sponsors and employees, helping them navigate the complexities of retirement planning. This role is part of a larger team at Corebridge Financial, a leading provider of financial planning tools for non-profit institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning principles and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.As a Retirement Plan Consultant, day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting individual and group presentations, both in-person and via video technology, to educate plan participants about the features and benefits of their retirement savings plan. This may involve travel to various locations, depending on the assigned territory. The consultant will also participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations, providing targeted education campaigns to increase plan participation and deferral rates.

What You Will Do
- Conduct individual and group presentations to educate plan participants about retirement savings plans
- Participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations to promote plan awareness and participation
- Develop and implement targeted education campaigns to increase plan participation and deferral rates
- Meet with plan sponsors and participants to provide personalized guidance and support
- Collaborate with the Relationship Manager and/or District Vice President to achieve business objectives
- Analyze plan data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to plan participants and sponsors
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in retirement planning
- Travel to assigned locations as needed to conduct presentations and meetings
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred, with appropriate state insurance licenses required
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning tools
- CFP, ChFC, or similar designations desirable
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on the assigned territory

- Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly in retirement planning
- Knowledge of financial planning software and systems
- Familiarity with ERISA and other relevant regulations
