About the Role

The Retool and NoCode/Low Code Engineer & Junior Product Manager role at Fabulous is a unique opportunity to drive growth and product development through data-driven insights. As a key member of the Growth team, you will work closely with behavioral scientists, product managers, and engineers to inform product roadmap decisions and execute growth initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and analyzing product performance metrics.

The Growth team at Fabulous is dedicated to applying behavioral insights to optimize product development and growth strategies. As a junior product manager with a growth engineering specialty, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in executing the product roadmap and spearheading growth engineering initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the CPO in implementing the product roadmap by coordinating with relevant departments and ensuring milestones are met on time
  • Serve as a liaison between the product, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on product development and growth strategies
  • Conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and user feedback
  • Work closely with the engineering and design teams to define product requirements, oversee feature development, and ensure product quality
  • Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and optimization
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, providing regular reports to the CPO and relevant stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders, including the CPO, other teams, and external partners as necessary
  • Support the entire experimentation process of the Growth and Core Product team, including coding, analysis, and collaboration with the Core Product Development team, the Growth Team, and the Data Science team
  • Peer-review Growth code and assist in code review for Growth experiments
  • Assist with experiment launches on Google Firebase
  • Debug code and work closely with the product development team
  • Assist in QAing new features prior to releases
  • Peer-review experiment analysis
  • Own the translations of winning experiments into other languages/across platforms and own this experimentation process from start to finish

What We Are Looking For

  • Background in software engineering
  • Confidence in JSON, JAVA, or Javascript (SQL is a bonus)
  • Comfort with statistical significance and common types of statistical bias
  • Understanding of the basics of good experimental design
  • Passion for growth, metrics, and providing an outstanding user experience
  • Data-driven and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with growth product management or product management
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Google Firebase
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and user experience design
