About the Role
The Revenue Analyst role at Lattice is a critical component of the company's financial operations team. As a Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day billing operations, including invoice generation, system updates, and billing inquiries. You will also play a key role in preparing revenue journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as part of the month-end close process. Your expertise in ASC 606 will be essential in applying revenue recognition principles to customer contracts and supporting documentation of revenue treatment.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in revenue accounting and experience working in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do
- Own day-to-day billing operations, including invoice generation, system updates, and billing inquiries
- Prepare revenue journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as part of the month-end close process
- Apply ASC 606 to customer contracts and support documentation of revenue treatment
- Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, and Business Systems to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Improve billing and revenue processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Support revenue reporting and external audit requests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing disputes and issues
- Develop and maintain documentation of revenue accounting policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with changes in revenue recognition standards and regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or subscription business
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 and experience applying it
- Experience supporting month-end close and performing reconciliations
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Preferred: Big 4 experience and/or CPA (or CPA candidate)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated billing systems and revenue recognition software
- Knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting
- Certification in revenue accounting or a related field
