About the Role

The Revenue Compensation Specialist will play a critical role in managing Andela's sales compensation program, serving as the primary point of contact for sales team members and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly commission cycles. This role will sit at the intersection of Finance, Sales, and RevOps, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills. As a key member of the team, the Revenue Compensation Specialist will be responsible for consolidating ownership of administrative compensation responsibilities and freeing up resources for strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be deeply organized, analytically rigorous, and thrive in a high-trust environment where precision and communication quality are paramount. They will be expected to serve as a brand ambassador, trusted advisor, and innovation partner to clients and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end plan setup, maintenance, and payout validation in CaptivateIQ across all quota-carrying roles
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for rep-facing compensation questions, disputes, and escalations
  • Maintain and govern the compensation data record, including start dates, ramp schedules, OTE and quota assignments, and plan versioning
  • Distribute, track, and archive pay plan acknowledgments
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve compensation-related issues and provide guidance on compensation plans
  • Develop and maintain documentation of compensation plans and procedures
  • Analyze and report on compensation trends and insights to inform business decisions
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to optimize the compensation program
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including sales team members and leadership

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in sales compensation, finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with Salesforce and compensation management software, such as CaptivateIQ
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with sales team members and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of ambiguity and change

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Certification in sales compensation or a related field, such as the Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) designation
