About the Role
The Revenue Cycle Practice Lead is a key role within WithumSmith+Brown's Healthcare Advisory Services Consulting practice. As a leader in this space, you will oversee revenue cycle operations for healthcare providers, leveraging your consulting expertise to drive improvements in financial performance and compliance. You will work closely with community hospitals, physician groups, and post-acute providers to strengthen their revenue cycle management.The success of healthcare organizations depends on the efficiency of their revenue cycle operations. As the Revenue Cycle Practice Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and driving operational improvements. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex regulatory requirements and optimize their revenue cycle performance.

What You Will Do
- Provide strategic direction for the revenue cycle advisory practice, emphasizing growth, quality, innovation, and client satisfaction
- Lead and oversee performance improvement engagements across the full revenue cycle spectrum for healthcare organizations
- Manage multiple consulting projects, driving improvements in operations, financial performance, and compliance
- Advise clients regularly on revenue performance management and regulatory requirements
- Build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and lead proposal development and presentations
- Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and client meetings to enhance visibility
- Mentor and develop consulting staff, fostering a collaborative, learning-oriented culture
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, including CFOs and RCM executives, to earn trust and credibility
- Uphold values of integrity, transparency, and long-term client relationships
- Drive business development and growth initiatives for the revenue cycle practice
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required, with a Master's degree in Business, Health Administration, or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 5+ years in a consulting leadership role
- Proven experience advising community hospitals, physician enterprises, and post-acute providers on revenue cycle improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Ability to travel (20%-30%) as needed
- Preferred certifications: HFMA, CHFP, and/or CRCR
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
