About the Role
The Revenue Cycle Specialist role at Osmind is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the revenue cycle process, including AR follow-up, denials, and rejections. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of claims, resolving denials and rejections, and collaborating with providers to address any issues. Your expertise in prior authorization, E&M billing, and telehealth billing will be essential in navigating the complex billing landscape in healthcare.The role is part of a dynamic team that is passionate about improving mental health care through innovative technology and services. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will be contributing to the company's mission to close the gap between scientific innovation and better real-world care.

What You Will Do
- Own the cash side of the revenue cycle, ensuring clean claims flow without bottlenecks
- Address holds, edits, and rejections that prevent submission
- Unclog cash flow by working outstanding AR across 30/60/90+ day aging buckets
- Prioritize high-dollar claims and resolve denials, rejections, and holds to maximize cash flow
- Partner directly with providers to address denials and rejections
- Navigate modern E&M and telehealth billing, including standard office E&M, POS rules, and state- and payer-specific telehealth modifier patchwork
- Bring PA fluency, understanding medical vs. pharmacy benefits, PBMs, and the difference between buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy procurement
- Audit and clean up AR backlog, flagging template/SOP/workflow improvements and contributing to how the team operates
- Send clear, concise, professional messages to practices, ensuring every message is actionable without follow-up
- Raise blockers proactively in the right channel within hours, not days
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on AR resolution experience, including denials, rejections, appeals, aging buckets, and prioritization to maximize cash
- Prior authorization experience, with the ability to request, amend, and follow PAs through to resolution
- Benefit routing fluency, understanding medical vs. pharmacy benefits, PBMs, and the difference between buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy procurement
- Modern E&M and telehealth billing chops, including standard office E&M, POS rules, and the state- and payer-specific telehealth modifier patchwork
- Tech adaptability, with the ability to ramp up on new platforms without formal training
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex billing issues and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with providers and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Knowledge of payer reimbursement policies and the ability to translate them into billing actions
- Familiarity with telehealth billing and the nuances of state- and payer-specific modifier patchwork
