About the Role

The RPA Business Analyst/Scrum Master is a critical position at Photon Interactive UK Limited, focusing on driving process automation initiatives through the effective gathering of requirements, analysis of business processes, and close collaboration with development teams to deliver scalable and efficient automation solutions. This role plays a pivotal part in transitioning to an Agile-based RPA delivery model, ensuring that automation projects are aligned with the company's business objectives and goals.

Day-to-day, this role involves working closely with various business teams to identify opportunities for automation, defining requirements, and conducting process assessments to evaluate the feasibility and potential return on investment (ROI) for automation projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting detailed process workflows, business rules, and exceptions for automation, as well as collaborating with RPA engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

The role is set within an Agile environment, where iterative improvements in RPA delivery are driven continuously. The company is looking for someone who can work effectively in this fast-paced setting, driving change and ensuring that governance, compliance, and security standards are met.

What You Will Do

  • Work with business teams to identify automation opportunities and define requirements.
  • Conduct process assessments to evaluate feasibility and ROI for automation.
  • Document detailed process workflows, business rules, and exceptions for automation.
  • Collaborate with RPA engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Define and track KPIs for automation success.
  • Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and assist in bot deployment.
  • Provide training support to business users.
  • Work in an Agile environment, driving iterative improvements in RPA delivery.
  • Facilitate meetings and scrums to ensure project goals are met.
  • Analyze ROI and business impact of automation initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in RPA projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Automation Anywhere (AA) and RPA best practices.
  • Experience in process discovery, mapping, and optimization.
  • Ability to analyze ROI and business impact of automation initiatives.
  • Experience working in an Agile RPA delivery model.
  • Strong understanding of integration challenges with legacy systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enhanced automation and intelligent document processing (IDP).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with robotic process automation tools beyond Automation Anywhere.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
