About the Role

The Project Manager position at Flexstaf IT is a senior leadership role that entails overseeing complex, mission-critical projects from conception to delivery. This involves leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role requires a deep understanding of business transformation, IT solutions, and web application development, as well as expertise in Agile project management methodologies.

As a Project Manager at Flexstaf IT, you will be responsible for defining project scope, developing project plans, and managing resources to ensure successful project execution. You will work closely with business analysts, system designers, developers, and testers to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, identify and mitigate risks, and manage conflicts will be crucial to your success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Microsoft DevOps Azure.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage complex, mission-critical projects from conception to delivery
  • Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and project schedules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system designers, developers, and testers
  • Manage stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and team members
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and manage conflicts that may arise during project execution
  • Develop and manage project budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, and that all deliverables meet the specified requirements
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including project team meetings, stakeholder meetings, and client meetings
  • Develop and deliver project status reports, including progress updates, issues, and risks

What We Are Looking For

  • Over 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and experience with Agile project management tools
  • Experience with project management tools, including MS Project, Planview, Jira, or Microsoft DevOps Azure
  • Strong background in software development, including web application development and IT service integration
  • Experience with Cloud-based services, including MS Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in managing stakeholders, including project sponsors, clients, and team members
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with experience in identifying and mitigating risks, and managing conflicts
  • Experience with business transformation, including business process transformation and re-engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in analyzing complex problems and developing creative solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with full stack Java-based and/or Microsoft .Net technologies
  • Experience with web application servers, including Solaris, Red Hat, IBM WAS
  • Experience with IBM Cloud Pak
  • Certification in Scrum Master or other Agile methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
