About the Role

The RTOC Analyst role at SLB is a critical position that requires advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and software updates. As a key member of the team, the RTOC Analyst will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and data management at the rig site. This includes troubleshooting IT infrastructure, managing user access and permissions, and ensuring that all IT equipment is up to date. The RTOC Analyst will work closely with the rig site team to ensure that all IT systems are running smoothly and that data is being collected and managed effectively. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The RTOC Analyst will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the IT infrastructure at the rig site, including software updates and troubleshooting
  • Establish and maintain data links to town and wellsite networks
  • Manage user access and permissions for all IT systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with IT infrastructure, RCS, and Coda systems, sensors, and cabling
  • Manage IT equipment inventory and ensure that all equipment is up to date
  • Re-start virtual machines as needed
  • Work closely with the rig site team to ensure that all IT systems are running smoothly
  • Communicate effectively with remote centers and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and training to rig site staff as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and software updates
  • Experience with data management and communication
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in town-based Orchestra & Prism systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of IT equipment inventory management
  • Experience with virtual machines and troubleshooting

  • Experience with remote work and digital skills
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and core services elements of wellsite execution systems
  • Familiarity with IT equipment inventory control and management
  • Certification in IT or a related field
